About

Hi, I’m Claudio Corgozinho — and honestly, I can’t remember a time in my life when games weren’t a part of me.

I was born in Brazil, and even before I could read, I was already building my own adventures. I would take pieces from board games like Risk, The Game of Life, Monopoly, and Hero Quest, and start mixing them, bending the rules, and creating something completely new. While most kids played what came in the box, I was changing the box itself. As soon as I learned to read, that creative flame only grew stronger — and it’s never gone out.

For decades, I’ve played all kinds of games — especially tabletop RPGs. I’ve lived through every phase: from classic dungeon crawling to narrative-driven systems, from group sessions full of friends to solo journaling campaigns in the quiet of the night. But in recent years, something clicked. I fell deeply in love with solo games.

There’s something incredibly powerful about sitting down alone at a table, rolling the dice, opening a rulebook, and entering a world that responds to your imagination alone. No waiting, no group logistics, just you and the game. That sense of freedom and immersion is what drives me today.

After nearly ten years living in Orlando, Florida, I’ve decided to embrace this passion more intentionally. That’s why I created Claudio Games Lab — a space where I can share the games I design, especially print-and-play projects that are affordable, accessible, and full of heart. Most of the games you’ll find here are solo-friendly, designed to invite you into a world without needing anyone else around the table — just you, some paper, dice, and the will to play.

But this blog is more than just a showcase. It’s also where I write about design ideas, development stories, personal reflections, and reviews of games I’ve played and enjoyed — mostly board games and print-and-play projects, but occasionally even PC or Android games that have captured my attention. That said, my heart will always belong to the tabletop.

If you’re someone who loves stories, worlds, paper, dice, and the magic that happens when imagination meets gameplay — then this space is for you.

Welcome to Claudio Games Lab. Pull up a chair, roll the dice, and let’s explore new worlds together.
